Front End Containers
Front End containers are the containers that can be found behind stores,offices and restaurants. Front end (or front load) containers are picked up with the arms on the front of our truck,and dumped over the top into the truck's sealed waste container compartment.

The following materials are banned from the landfills by Metro Vancouver and therefore cannot be put in front end containers:
.Recyclable Cardboard -Take to our recycling depot at Segal Disposal (12393 Industrial Road,Surrey). If you do have cardboard on a regular basis, Segal Disposal provides cardboard recycling front-end containers. Metro Vancouver Transfer Stations also have drop-off areas available.
.Newsprint-Take to our recycling depot at Segal Disposal(12393 Industrial Road, Surrey), or contact Segal Disposal for more information on setting up a recycling program for your business.
.Office Paper-Contact Segal Disposal for more information on setting up a recycling program for your business.
.Lead-acid(car)Batteries-Take car batteries to any retail outlet that sells them(this item is part of the take-back program which means that companies must take back their products and they must safely dispose of them).They can go to the drop-off area at a Metro Vancouver Transfer Station.
.Electronic Waste(personal computers, printers and TV's)-These items can be disposed of free of charge at the Salvation Army or bottle depot drop-off ser- vices provided by Encorp in the Metro Vancouver area.Also part of the take-back program,there-fore they can be returned were they were purchased.
.Gypsum Drywall-For large amounts Segal Disposal provides Hook Lift containers.Small amounts can be taken to New West Gypsum (604-520-6647) or a local transfer station(see the blue pages section of your local phone directory for details).
.Paints,Solvents,and Flammable Liquids,Gasoline,Pesticides and other Household Hazardous Waste-Product Care Organization has depot locations where paint cans and leftover paint can be returned.Product Care also has depots for gasoline,flammable liquids and some pesticides.Call Recycling Council of BC at 604-RECYCLE in order to find out which products are accepted and where the depots are located or go to Product Care's website, "http://www.productcare.org"www.productcare.org.
.Vehicle Tires(this item is new as of January 1,2008) - Used tires can be returned to most tire dealers for the scrap tire recycling program.Contact 604-RECYCLE or the Tire Stewardship BC's website for more information at www.tirestewardshipbc.ca for more information on the recycling program and which dealers are involved.
.Oil, Oil Filters,and Empty Containers-There are garages involved in the British Columbia used oil material recycling program that will dispose of these items;they can be located at www.usedoilrecycling.ca.
;Green Waste and Yard Trimmings - Can be disposed at a disposal facility in the yard and green waste area or the municipal depot Call 604-RECYCLE for more information.
